Abandoned (2023)
This quilt is a representation of the abandoned Bethleham steel works in Pennsylvania that Saul and I visited in 2014. I used a combination of disappearing nine patch and improv piecing and the main fabric was Abandoned by Tim Holtz - a perfect fit!! You can see this quilt in my trunk show 50 Quilts from 50 States.
